RentalX acts solely as an intermediary platform connecting hosts and guests.

RentalX is not a property owner, landlord, agent, or party to any rental agreement between users.

RentalX does not guarantee the accuracy, quality, safety, legality, or availability of any listings.

All responsibility for listings lies solely with the host.

RentalX is not responsible for the actions, behavior, or omissions of users, including hosts and guests.

Users interact at their own risk.

Payments are processed through third-party providers (e.g., Stripe).

RentalX is not liable for payment failures, delays, or third-party service issues.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, RentalX shall not be liable for indirect or consequential damages, loss of profits, revenue, or data, or personal inconvenience.

If RentalX is found liable, the total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by the user for the specific booking.

RentalX shall not be held liable for failures or delays caused by events beyond its control, including natural disasters, government actions, strikes, or technical outages.

Users agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless RentalX from claims, damages, or losses arising from misuse of the platform, disputes between users, or violations of these terms.

Users agree to first attempt informal resolution of disputes. Where permitted, disputes may be resolved through mediation or arbitration instead of court proceedings.

These terms are governed by the laws of Germany.

EU consumer rights remain unaffected, and users may access the EU Online Dispute Resolution (ODR) platform.
