Information provided in listings, including but not limited to descriptions, pricing, amenities, house rules, photos, availability, location details, and suitability of the property, is supplied by hosts or other third parties.

While ALX may use moderation tools, verification steps, or automated systems to review content, ALX does not guarantee that any listing is accurate, complete, current, safe, lawful, or suitable for your needs.

Users are responsible for independently evaluating whether a listing, booking, host, guest, or service is appropriate for them.

ALX does not guarantee the identity, honesty, reliability, or conduct of any host, guest, or third party.

ALX does not guarantee the condition, safety, legality, or quality of any property, or that a stay will meet a user’s expectations.

ALX does not guarantee that a guest will pay, behave properly, or respect house rules, or that a host will provide access, maintain the property properly, or fulfill all commitments.

ALX does not guarantee that communications between users will always be accurate, respectful, secure, or free from misconduct.

Any interactions, agreements, disputes, damages, injuries, losses, delays, or incidents occurring between users are primarily the responsibility of the relevant users, except where applicable law provides otherwise.

Content available on ALX, including help articles, policy pages, customer support messages, automated moderation results, pricing suggestions, legal-related information, tax-related references, safety recommendations, or other platform guidance, is provided for general informational purposes only.

It does not constitute legal, tax, accounting, financial, insurance, real estate, compliance, or other professional advice.

Users should obtain independent advice from qualified professionals before making decisions that may have legal, financial, or regulatory consequences.

The website, mobile experience, messaging tools, booking flow, payment integrations, notifications, maps, verification features, and other platform functions may occasionally be delayed, disrupted, suspended, or unavailable due to maintenance, technical issues, third-party service failures, cyber incidents, force majeure events, or other causes.

ALX may modify, suspend, restrict, or discontinue any part of the platform at any time, with or without notice, subject to applicable law.

The platform may rely on or link to third-party services, including but not limited to payment processors, map providers, identity verification providers, cloud hosting services, analytics tools, customer support systems, email services, or embedded external content.

ALX does not control and is not responsible for the availability, accuracy, security, or legality of third-party services, for acts, omissions, outages, or errors caused by third-party providers, or for losses arising from a user’s use of or reliance on third-party products or services.

Use of third-party services may be subject to separate terms and privacy policies imposed by those providers.

Where payment services are made available through the platform, payment processing may be performed by third-party providers. ALX does not independently guarantee that any payment, payout, refund, chargeback handling, deposit hold, currency conversion, fraud screening, or identity verification process will be uninterrupted, successful, or error-free.

Delays or failures may occur due to banking systems, payment processors, compliance reviews, fraud checks, chargebacks, account restrictions, payout verification, or regulatory obligations.

Users are responsible for ensuring that their submitted payment and payout information is accurate and lawful.

Unless expressly stated in a separate written policy, guarantee, or insurance document, ALX does not provide insurance coverage for property damage, theft, bodily injury, personal liability, travel interruption, booking cancellation losses, host income loss, guest relocation costs, or damage caused by pets, visitors, or third parties.

Users should obtain their own appropriate insurance coverage where needed.

ALX may host reviews, ratings, photos, messages, profile information, verification badges, listing descriptions, and other content created or uploaded by users.

Such content reflects the views and actions of the relevant user, not ALX. ALX does not endorse, guarantee, or accept responsibility for user-generated content, except to the extent required by law.

ALX reserves the right, but not the obligation, to monitor, review, remove, restrict, or report content in accordance with applicable law and platform policies.

Although ALX may implement account verification, fraud prevention measures, moderation systems, reporting tools, identity checks, or safety-related features, no system is foolproof.

ALX does not guarantee that the platform will be free from fraud, impersonation, scams, offensive conduct, unauthorized access, data loss, cyberattacks, or other harmful activity.

Users should exercise caution and report suspicious behavior immediately.

Any decision to book, host, pay, travel, cancel, communicate, or rely on information made available through ALX is made at the user’s own discretion and risk.

Users should not rely solely on the platform, listing content, reviews, badges, support messages, or automated outputs when making important decisions.

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, ALX and its owners, directors, officers, employees, contractors, affiliates, service providers, and partners shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, exemplary, punitive, or non-direct damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, loss of income, loss of bookings, loss of business opportunity, reputational harm, travel disruption, data loss, personal inconvenience, emotional distress, or property loss or damage.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, ALX’s total liability arising out of or relating to the use of the platform shall be limited to the amount of service fees actually paid by the user to ALX in the twelve (12) months preceding the event giving rise to the claim, or EUR 100, whichever is greater, unless a different amount is required by mandatory law.

Nothing in this Disclaimer excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law, including liability for fraud, intentional misconduct, gross negligence where non-excludable, or death or personal injury to the extent such limitation is prohibited.

Nothing in this Disclaimer is intended to override, exclude, or restrict any mandatory rights that users may have under applicable consumer protection, tenancy, privacy, payment, or other mandatory laws.

If any part of this Disclaimer is found unenforceable under applicable law, the remaining provisions will remain in effect to the fullest extent permitted.

ALX may update this Disclaimer from time to time to reflect changes in the platform, legal requirements, business model, or risk allocation approach. The updated version will be posted on this page with a revised Last updated date.

Continued use of ALX after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Disclaimer, unless applicable law requires additional notice or consent.
