Commission Agreement

The RentalX platform currently charges 0% host commission on bookings.

By using the platform, both hosts and guests agree that a commission may be introduced in the future and that the terms of this agreement may be updated with prior notice.

RentalX reserves the right to introduce or modify commission structures at any time.

Users will be notified at least 14 days in advance, and changes will apply only to new bookings.

The current guest service fee is 20%. The current host commission is 0%.

Exact fees will always be clearly displayed before payment and remain transparent.

All payments are processed via Stripe or Stripe Connect.

Guests pay through the platform, funds are held until check-out, and after completion hosts receive payouts while the platform deducts commission where applicable.

Users are strictly prohibited from bypassing the platform or arranging payments outside RentalX.

Violations may result in account suspension, booking cancellation, or penalties.

Before check-in, the host cancellation policy determines the refundable share of the accommodation price.

The guest service fee is refunded by RentalX in the same proportion and does not reduce the host accommodation payout.

After check-in, hosts receive payment for nights already used; unused nights are refunded to the guest.

Hosts are responsible for their own taxes.

RentalX may withhold taxes if required by law or share data with tax authorities in accordance with EU regulations.

RentalX may update this agreement at any time.

Users will be notified via email or platform notice, and continued use constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
