Commission Agreement

The ALX platform currently does not charge any commission on bookings.

By using the platform, both hosts and guests agree that a commission may be introduced in the future and that the terms of this agreement may be updated with prior notice.

ALX reserves the right to introduce or modify commission structures at any time.

Users will be notified at least 14 days in advance, and changes will apply only to new bookings.

Once introduced, the commission may include guest service fees (e.g., 5–15%) and host commission fees (e.g., 3–10%).

Exact fees will always be clearly displayed before payment and remain transparent.

All payments are processed via Stripe or Stripe Connect.

Guests pay through the platform, funds are held until check-out, and after completion hosts receive payouts while the platform deducts commission where applicable.

Users are strictly prohibited from bypassing the platform or arranging payments outside ALX.

Violations may result in account suspension, booking cancellation, or penalties.

In case of refunds, commission may be fully refunded or partially retained depending on the situation.

This depends on the booking stage and applicable cancellation policy.

Hosts are responsible for their own taxes.

ALX may withhold taxes if required by law or share data with tax authorities in accordance with EU regulations.

ALX may update this agreement at any time.

Users will be notified via email or platform notice, and continued use constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
